Use the 'Write to buyer' link on your transaction's escrow summary page to send this instruction to the buyer. The buyer should click on the following URL and follow the instructions on that page. Network Solutions charges $3 to the buyer for this registrant transfer. The seller will authorize the transfer by email (at the original Administrative Contact email address for the domain).

Technically, domain names are not owned by anyone. Paying the domain registration fee entitles you to license the rights to use the domain name for a specific time typically one to 2 years).
