A - Sealing the stone is not required. However, use of a high-quality, "breathable" concrete sealer will reduce water penetration into the stone. Breathable sealers will allow water that does absorb into the stone to come out. Breathable sealers will extend the life of the product by reducing freeze/thaw stress and blocking contaminants from entering the concrete. CAUTION: Sealers will have varying impact on color.
