Code 39 is an Industry standard alphanumeric unique identifier for your products. It is used if you do not have a UPC code available. Wolf Track POS Software Label making will automatically convert to code 39 when no UPC is supplied. Wolf Track suggests that your product descriptions be 24 characters or less because of label printing and if for some reason product doesn't scan you must type it in.
