The master DVD contains a full 20 minutes of generic footage with no blank spaces, and all personalized clips are recorded on top of the master. So, if a guest skips a YourDay-equipped ride or a ride is down for park maintenance, the finished DVD will still be complete, as the original stock video of actors on the ride would remain on that portion of the DVD.
