Live donation', 'living-related transplantation' or donor 'nephrectomy' are terms to describe live kidney donation. The donor is the person giving the kidney and the recipient is the person getting the kidney. Many people have a live donation because it reduces or removes the need for dialysis. Research costs, such as the cost of hiring personnel and managing data, are covered by the organization sponsoring the clinical trial. Some clinical trials will pay you for joining the trial, although this is not a universal nor mandated practice. You may also receive reimbursement for expenses you incur as a result of participation, such as transportation costs. Patient care costs may be covered by medical insurance, although this varies by policy and by trial.

To have your pet microchipped here at Firehall 4 Animal Hospital with the Home Again Microchip is $45.00. The procedure will only take a few minutes. Once implanted your pet, the chip can instantly be scanned by the Microchip reader. There is also a lifetime registration fee of $17.50 that is mailed directly to Home Again Pet Recovery Service along with the registration form you will receive when your pet has been microchipped.

Court costs vary with each case. You must call the Clerk of Court's Office and ask for the Civil Department. Please have a docket (case) number available.
