Can I view Moodle in other languages?Yes. You can change your language preferences via your user profile. To access your profile, click on the link to your name in the top right-hand corner of the site homepage. Can I use Moodle to manage groups?Yes. You can set group activities via Moodle's groups functionality. Can I use Moodle to send a message to all students on a module?Yes. The best way to do this is to post a message to the news forum in that module.

Blackboard has two tools which allow mathematical symbols and scientific notation to be added. These are the WebEQ and MathML Equation Editors, and are accessible via the Visual Text Box Editor. For further instructions, please see the UWEonline Staff Guide: WebEQ and MathML Equation Editors.

Because moodle is free, there is no simple way to count it's "customers" since anyone can use it any time with no record. The statistics from users and installations that have registered are linked to from the main page of moodle.org and show over 7000 worldwide installations as of the end of 2005. Worldwide users are in the millions. Countries are at about 140. There are a number of large installations of Moodle which cater for thousands of users each.

Don't Forget about the marker edit or line edit tools in ArcPlot that allow you to make all kinds of changes to existing symbols. You can also digitize a marker or line and place it into a font and then create a marker or line with it. There is an extensive discussion on this subject in ArcDocs. Windows provides a handy accessory, called the Character Map, to help you locate and insert uncommon symbols like the copyright in your text. You can usually find the Character Map accessory in the Start menu, inside the Programs folder's Accessories folder. When you launch the Character Map, you can see all the various characters that aren't readily accessible from your QWERTY keyboard, like copyright, trademark, and registered trademark.
