When you want to mount the fence atop your concrete pool apron, for example, you can use floor flanges on the posts. These are bolted down using lag bolts and anchors which are available at any hardware store. You'll need four 3/8" x 2" bolts per post. It is not unusual to have an angle other than a 90 degree corner. You can use a corner post or a line post, depending on the angle. Basically, anything wider than 90 degrees, use a line post. Less than 90 degrees, use a corner post.

It's your choice. Inside applications: by utilizing a 3.5" ring shank nail or a 3" Decking Screw the rail and brackets will hold firmly to the posts. But before you choose, consider this: placing the rail on the inside of the fence denies horses access to the fence posts, is the strongest method of installation, and is recommended to provide optimal safety performance. Outside applications: However, rails on the outside of the fence often look better.

If you leave the locking pin down at the same level as the hot shoe contacts when the flash is not mounted, you can quickly and securely mount the flash by just slipping it into the shoe.
