Fellows work at least 500 hours during the 12-month year in an internship that benefits an underserved community. This can be fulfilled by working 12-20 hours per week during the 16 week semester. In October 2006, we were awarded an AmeriCorps state grant providing for 20 half-time memberships. These require a 900 hour obligation to be fulfilled over a twelve month period.
