Most new laser printers feature increased memory and processor power that allows the handling of more graphics and text at higher printing speeds. Many of these machines store the print job in memory or on a hard disk to handle multiple users and output multiple copies surprisingly quickly. Increased memory also allows duplexing - printing on both sides of the paper - to be handled directly by some printers instead of from your application software.

Get the last three digits from your workstation's label. Go to the Circulation Desk to pick up and pay for your pages. The cost is 50 cents per page. The idea is that the grid is a tool that may have to be changed many times to select different data as variables, so keeping one specific setting would not be useful. The printer might not recognize the BarSIMM, and the barcode font parameters create huge fonts that overflow memory. Please verify the BarDIMM is recognized by the printer (all information in the “ Testing the BarSIMM ” chapter of BarDIMM manual). If you have Norton Firewall installed on your computer, the Printer Friendly link returns an error. Temporarily disable the firewall (this should be simple - just click the Norton Firewall icon on your taskbar, click disable, then confirm that you wish to turn off Norton Firewall). Once the firewall is disabled, return to the page that you want to print, click the link to the printer friendly version, and it should quickly appear. Non-AIT model printers - a light cleaning using a cleaning card needs to be done at 50 badges. A more thorough cleaning should be done at least every 200 badges, or more frequently in dirty environments. Generally, light cleanings are done when the computer indicates that it is necessary. The printer driver keeps track of the number of badges printed since it was last cleaned and displays a notice to clean when it reaches the cleaning interval. See similar questions...
