PMP stands for Project Management Professional certification. This is an exam offered by PMI (Project Management Institute) for individuals in the project management domain. PMP is a globally recognized certification exam and is well respected in the industry. The exam is extremely popular. In October 2005, there were more than 170,000 certified PMPs. 61,485 professionals sat for the exam in August and September, 2005

After completing PM ESSENTIALS (which includes answering all 520 online questions and succesfully completing the Chapter Reviews), Customer Service will send a link to our 200 simulated PMP Exam. This web-based exam has a format like the actual PMP exam, but the student is allowed to take the exam as many times as needed to achieve a passing score. After completing each exam, the system will display the correct answers and an explanation of both the correct answers and the incorrect answers.

Sixty years ago, the government wanted a pool of trained radio operators and electronics technicians to draw from in case of another World War. They used the ham radio exams to achieve this goal. With the advent of digital communications, the military no longer uses Morse code, so training radio operators is much easier. And they now repair radios the same way everyone else does — throw the thing away and get a new one. However, the FCC exams have not kept up with these changes.

You take the exam immediately after you complete the course. The course is divided into two sections. The first part, you register with PMI to take the exam, learn how to effectively prepare for the exam, set up your exam study schedule, and schedule you exam in four weeks. You can not start the second part of the course, which is the exam prep part of the course ,until you have your exam scheduled. The amount of time it will take you to prepare for the PMP certification exam will depend on how much experience you have as a project manager, how familiar are you with PMI's terminology, which book you use to prepare etc. Because the exam is expensive, you should spend enough time so that you feel comfortable. I think you should plan to spend four to eight weeks spending one to two hours per day before you take the exam.

For all knowledge area wise tests and the PMP simulation test, the candidate will have to score 80% atleast once. Candidates are allowed to take these tests multiple times, and this module is available to them for 3 months from the first transaction.

It is very difficult to find experienced PMP oncologists and surgeons (and pathologist's and radiologists for that matter) which leads to a variety of treatment recommendations from watch and wait, hysterectomy/ovarectomy, "partial" debulking, partial debulking followed by chemo etc. . Once deemed eligible, applicants receive an Authorization to Test (ATT) letter, which provides instruction on how to schedule a test time at Prometric Testing center.
