The Logs are Venice's alter ego; they perform only cover tunes--kind of like a whole Venice concert full of their encores! The band consists of Kipp Lennon and Mark Lennon on vocals, Michael Lennon on lead guitar, Mark Harris on bass, and Chris Horvath on keyboards and guitar. Drumming duties these days are usually taken up by Dann Gillen, but that can vary. Pat Lennon is not involved with this side project.

Black and white spruce are two different species of tree which can look so much alike it is difficult to tell the difference outside of a laboratory. The following are indicators which may help differentiate the two: Habitat. White spruce thrive in well-drained areas while black spruce can only compete on bogs or on moist ground.

Cedar tends to produce a warmer sound and ages faster than spruce. Spruce is brighter and ages more over a longer period of time. Visually, cedar is darker in color with a fairly tight grain pattern. Spruce tends to be very blond with a slightly wider grain pattern.

Oak is al lot Harder, and accepts stains better. Pine is soft and mares easier, plus it sometimes doesn't stain evenly.

Due to its restrictive license, it's in the non-free area. Moreover, since license does not even allow modified binaries to be distributed, you have to compile it yourself from the source and the Debian patches. The source package name is pine. You can use the pine-tracker package to be notified about when you need to upgrade. Note that there are many replacements for both pine and pico, such as mutt and nano, that are located in the main section.

WindsorONE is free of lumber defects. #2 Pine, Spruce, and Fir have many defects which can include wane, knots, pitch, stain, bowing, splits, checking, and worm holes. Solid sawn lumber is prone to cup, twist, and warp. WindsorONE is end and edge glued, making it far more resistant to cupping, twisting, and warping

Maybe nothing! I have no idea where my suppliers really get their woods, and I suspect my German suppliers are getting theirs from the Italian Alps. The "Italian" spruce that I have, from my Italian supplier, is stiffer, a little harder to drive, a little bit brighter in the mids, takes a little longer to open up, but when it does, it opens up to some incredibly rich basses and thick round trebles.

The most obvious differences between them is that Douglas Fir is much stronger, denser, and harder than Pine. In terms of appearance, they both have their strong points. Douglas Fir has very prominent and interesting grain, and tends to be more orange, tan, and salmon in color; Pine tends to be more white and yellow in color, and the grain is less pronounced. Some people think it takes a botanist to really tell the difference, but it is generally accepted that fresh Norfolk Pine tends to be all amber with concentric limbs, and Cook Pine tends to have a dark center surrounded by amber with nonconcentric limbs. A botanist has suggested that these two types of trees have hybridized over time here in the Hawaiian islands. Often an artist will find a piece of wood that will have concentric limbs, yet it will have the "Cook Pine" center.

A The main difference between cedar & spruce is longevity. Northern white cedar should last on Long Island about 10-15 years. Spruce should last about 7 years. Where or how it is installed can add or take away the life of your wood fence. A wood fence installed 2" off the ground will last longer then if it were sitting on the ground. Installation near trees, brush, sprinklers, ect. Can lessen the life of a wood fence.

The fact is that this statement is a bit of a misnomer. It is truly a question of which way the spruce wood is laminated. Spruce is selected as soundboard material because of its resonant qualities. Some manufacturers use spruce planks which they glue edge to edge or horizontal lamination. Other manufacturers use what we have come to call plywood or vertically laminated spruce.

Southern Yellow Pine was shipped extensively to the north during the late 1700's and 1800's. It was used in many applications and was the flooring of choice in part due to its hardness and durability. In test results from Wood Handbook: Wood as an Engineering Material, hardness is measured by the load required to embed a 0.444 inch ball to one half its diameter in the known wood.

Pine is an email client. Tin is a dedicated newsreader. This means that in some ways, Tin manages newsgroups better. For example, it marks cross-postings read in all groups when they have already been viewed or marked read in one; it also threads discussions by subject. On the other hand, sorting messages by subject in Pine does approximately the same thing.

All legitimate list managers keep logs. If you do not, you should think about hiring an outside agency to manage your lists. Find someone who can handle this type of problem.
