The access log may have more info on the errors that appear in the error log. In particular it will have status codes. The access_log is disabled by default. For the answer, snag a copy of DeskWriter.txt which is available via anon-ftp on jagubox in /pub/aux/Info. Bad news... for some reason, if the LaserJet is connected directly to a Q700 running A/UX via AppleTalk then it won't work. In general, you should be able to load OpenVMS in one or more partitioned cells. However, it is important to check to be sure of system compatibility. Earlier versions of HP Integrity servers do not support OpenVMS. However, the newest line of HP Integrity servers and all planned HP Integrity servers do and will support OpenVMS. You can also load OpenVMS v8.3 on an HP integrity server partition with which certain HP 9000 PA-RISC-based servers are upgraded.
