For each test you took, the report lists your total test score, whether or not you met the qualifying score, and an indication of your performance in each subarea or section of the test. Scores range from 1-5 with 5 being the highest in the Brainbench scoring system. Within that range, Brainbench recognizes two levels of achievement for standard assessments. A score between 2.75 – 3.99 earns the test taker the standard certification while a score of 4.0 or higher certifies a master level of achievement. The score bars give you a graphical representation of your progress through the questions. The pink section represents questions you have not yet seen, red is those you're actively learning, blue questions still need some review, and the green ones are completely learned. The first step in interpreting a T3 suppression test is to compare the pre- and post- pill T3 and FT3 concentrations. We need to document an increase in 2 to 3 hour post pill T3 and FT3 to demonstrate that the medication was adequately administered and absorbed. In general, we prefer to make comparisons among the tests based on the different rankings they assign rather than the absolute scores they return.
