How often do I need to clean the ceramic filter?
That depends on how dirty your tap water is. The dirtier it is, the more often you will need to clean the ceramic filter. Most people need to clean it once every 3 to 4 weeks. Just lift off the top of the Hexagon and check once in a while. You will be able to tell by looking at the filter (the housing is clear) whether it needs cleaning or not.
