When you book one of our trips we provide you with a Trip Dossier that gives you all the information you need to prepare. This includes instructions on obtaining the relevant visas. It is your responsibility to obtain the entry visa, whether through the Nepalese embassy in your home country or at the Airport in Kathmandu. We recommend you obtain your visa in the home country to expedite your passage through customs when you arrive.

You must pay for the initial visa in US dollars, cash. There is a change facility available at the airport. The longest visa you can obtain initially is 60 days - you can extend it once you are there if you need to.

Yes. All visitors require VISA to enter Nepal. Tourist Visa is available from entry point such as from airport terminals like Kathmandu Airport or by land through immigration offices located at the borders or through the Royal Nepalese Embassy located near your region.

No. You will be issued with a 2 month tourist visa upon arrival at the airport immigration counter. However if you have bought your visa through the Nepal Embassy in your country, you will definately avoid unnecessary delays at the Immigration Counter on arrival. Traveling to Nepal doesn't require a prior visa. You can get visa after the arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport Immigration Office. You will be granted 60 days visa at a charge of USD 30. You can extend your visa each time to 30 days by paying an extra charge of USD 30.

Yes, we strongly advise you to register your name with your respective diplomatic office in Kathmandu. If you ask us for the form provided by your embassy and complete the necessary information, we will deliver it to your embassy in Kathmandu. Don't forget to mention your insurance details on this form.

This all depends on what vaccinations you already have and what country you are coming from. We suggest that you consult a travel doctor from your country before you arrive. (NOTE: Some vaccinations are needed as much as 2 months before arrival to Nepal). Please take malaria pill as a precautionary measure.
