All luggage is transported in our custom trailers between inns and campgrounds. You need only carry food, clothing and personal items desired for that day's activity.

With a full load of 6 passengers our Chrysler Grand Voyager should be able to carry 4 large suitcases and up to six pieces of hand baggage. Less passengers means we can carry more luggage. Your main luggage will be transported in support vehicles or by porters unless otherwise stated. A day pack is necessary to carry camera, sunscreen, snacks & small items with you. Please pack as light as possible as you will still have to carry your own gear to and from the hotel and loading onto the bus each day. Suitcases are not recommended.

With one exception, we transport your luggage from the vehicles to your hotel, or cruise. Bellboys will move it from the lobby, to your room, for a small tip. You will need to carry your luggage onto the train if taking the overnight sleeper, but again, you can pay someone to carry it on and off for you. The cabin attendant will also assist in putting it up on the rack if you wish. We do suggest using a small overnight bag on the train, so you do not need to open your large suitcase.

Traditional Ferry: There are luggage racks on all of the ferries to store your carry-on luggage at no charge. If you have more than a couple of items you can rent personal pallets from the freight office. Pallets are available on a first come first serve basis. They are approximately 4X4X2 and cost $7.85 each. Personal pallets are available on the traditional ferry only and must be accompanied by the individual who rented them.

No, if your tour has back up or luggage transfer pre arranged. Your luggage is carried in the support van or shuttled to your next accommodation. All what you need for the day is a camera, book, glasses, can be taken on the bike handlebar bag or on a Daypack. You can leave anything you may need for the day in the vehicle too. When you arrive to your accommodation you will have your luggage there.
