I have a HP Apollo p-1200 color printer and i have misplaced the driver for it and i have spent 24hours trying to find the driver for it on the web with no luck i needthe printer for school badly. = When we moved,the installation software for my laserjet 4L printers were lost. I just want to know how and can get replacements. I'd like to use it as a second printer. I'm currently using a HP Deskjet 882C. My operating systems is windows 98.

Click on SETUP to verify that the box indicates DeskJet 870C (If it doesn't, move it to DeskJet 870C).

The 1100 drivers come with Windows XP.. just use the ADD PRINTER wizard in the the printer and fax folder in the control panel

Windows 2000 and Windows XP provide their own certified drivers for some EMU10kX-based audio cards. Our kX Audio Driver has not been certified by Microsoft (WHQL-ed) and thus a special installation procedure might be required. It is recommended that you first try running kXSetup, and if that fails, follow our Windows XP installation guide.

Use the default plug and play the Windows operating system installs. Not all CTX models will have specific drivers for these operating systems. Check the CTX driver list for your model at www.ctxtec.com.

The 1120 driver provides a colour spectrum on the 1220C printer that is still quite usable even though the colour spectrum deviates slightly from the spectrum of the 1220C driver. Note that doing any of the below will erase all data in your hard disk! You can boot from a Windows 9x boot disk, reformat the XP partition and install a previous version of Windows. If XP is installed using NTFS file system, you'll first have to use FDISK to delete the partition, type FDISK at the prompt. Once you are at the menu, select "Delete Non-dos Partition.

Use the Unlocker utility. This file will unlock all file handles on the file/folder and even offer to delete it for you before the program locks it again!

Microsoft is aiming to combine the features of Windows Me for the consumer, and reliability of Windows 2000 for businesses and power users into one new operating system. This operating system in its' different flavors will have new features for gaming, multimedia applications, audio, etc. in addition to features for networking, development, etc. for businesses and power users.

Windows XP comes in Professional and Home versions. Servers will also come out, but they are still in beta testing.

Windows XP Home is $99 for an upgrade copy and $199 for the full version. Windows XP Pro is $199 for the upgrade version and $299 for a full copy.
