Primers can be composed of any number of chemical compounds but in the end they can be thought of as a chemical bridge between an adhesive or sealant and the bonding substrate. This chemical bridge can be likened to a weld between two sections of metal. Most primers are specially designed molecules carried in a solvent vehicle. Once applied the solvent must evaporate and in some cases the active ingredients must undergo a chemical reaction.

A primer surfacer generally features better filling qualities and so should be used when trying to build film thickness. A primer/sealer acts more like a barrier between the substrate and the topcoat, which is important in certain situations where body work and substrate colors may not be uniform, or when coating over a potentially unstable surface.

The SNP primer is a synthetic oligonucleotide that is complementary to the sequence adjacent to the location of the target SNP, thus the next base (e.g., the dye-AcycloTerminator) added to the primer will be complementary to the base at the SNP location. During assay validation for a specific allele, we recommend designing both the forward and reverse SNP primers and using the one that performs better. Performance is affected by the sequence context around the allele.

Almost all products will cure on metal surfaces without a primer. Therefore, primers are recommended for use on non-metallic surfaces with anaerobics to achieve a practical cure speed.

For most applications, there is no primer needed. Nansulate can be applied directly to the clean, dry surface. The surface should be free of dirt, grease, dust, flaking rust, etc.. If the surface has rusted areas, then the rust should be removed with wire brushing, and the area treated with a rust neutralizing product before application of Nansulate. Nansulate should not be diluted, so no thinner is needed. A primer may be desired for an uneven surface, or a porous surface.

I prefer to use Testor's line of primers. They have two colors: grey and white. You want a primer that has good "tooth" or gripping power as this is what will allow the paint to stick to the plastic or resin. Try to stay away from any sandable primer which is what you will more than likely come across at most department stores. These primers are made to be sanded off so their tooth is not that great. Parsha Primer is a weekly parsha sheet in English, comprised of several sections. There are three main sections, each one labeled for one of the seudot Shabbat (meals). The first is a summary of the parsha: "Parsha in a Nutshell", the second is "Mitzvah of the Week, and the third is "Middah of the Week". ANSWER: Two specialist primers are available, one for Plastisol and another for PVF2, Silicone Polyester, Architectural Polyester and Galbestos etc. these are as follows: PC4VC – Steelseal primer for steel, galvanised and plastisol for application by brush or airless spray. PVF2, Silicone Polyester, Architectural Polyester, Powder Coated Cladding, Alkyd and Epoxy Coil coated cladding; Steelseal cladding repaint P.

Answer: Primer can get contaminated over time. Its always best to check your primer to make sure it is clean. Cloudy primer means that it is weak and contaminated. To avoid this problem open a fresh bottle and be sure that the nail is thoroughly dusted before applying primer.

A masonry conditioner, or bonding sealer, is used over a chalky surface to help paint adhere. Bonding sealers have a very thin viscosity compared to normal paints, allowing them to penetrate chalky surfaces. After drying, the surface has a smooth finish, allowing paint to adhere properly. A primer is used on wood or bare concrete when there is not an adhesion concern. Pinholing can appear when very small air pockets, or bubbles, develop during elastomeric application.
