To move an entire data file from one computer to another, you can back your data file to floppy disk(s) and restore it to another computer. To do this, click on File, Backup or File, Restore. All the information contained within any QuickBooks report can be exported to a Text (ASCII), Excel or tab delimited file. A Currently, there is a preliminary process for converting Quicken's .qif files to QHacc datafiles. The file format is pretty well documented, but it seems that not even Quicken creates valid .qifs all the time. There should not be duplicate entries when you merge the data. The software will be set to merge using the VFC PIN# for the providers. As long as all users in a program use the same PIN for a provider, then the visit data will all be merged into one record for that provider.
