HydroCide is designed as a odor remover and not a stain remover. For treating pet stains we recommend using Stain-X or Avenge. Stain-X and Avenge contain over a dozen different ingredients that are excellent at removing animal stains.

Yes. HydroCide works on any surface or material the solution comes into contact with. Concrete is very porous just like wood. Just pour the solution on the concrete and let dry. Another way to apply HydroCide is to buy a 1 or 2 gallon pump-up sprayer and spray onto the concrete. Or, you may puddle a good amount of diluted HydroCide on the area. Then take regular bath towels and saturate them with water so that they're dripping wet. Bunch the towels up into a ball and pack them over the area.

Urine spot restoration can be a complicated procedure. The type of carpet and the degree of contamination greatly affects the outcome. Often we are able to achieve very satisfactory results using new topical solutions and treatments.

Stains can be removed from concrete with dry or mechanical methods, or by wet methods using chemical or water. Common dry methods include sandblasting, flame cleaning and shotblasting, grinding, scabbing, planing and scouring. Steel-wire brushes should be used with care because they can leave metal particles on the surface that later may rust and stain the concrete. Wet methods involve the application of water or specific chemicals according to the nature of the stain.

More often than not, YES! Let the stained item soak in a solution of Stain Solver liquid overnight. If the stain is still there, increase the concentration and try it again. Continue to increase the concentration until you succeed or fail. Remember, you have NOTHING to loose. Until such time as the stain is removed from the garment, it is headed for the rag pile.

Stains are simply different molecules. If you break apart a molecule you change its nature and it no longer produces color or a stain. The Stain Solver oxygen ion actually attacks and blasts apart stain molecules. Soaps simply try to "lift" stain molecules out of a fabric and transport them to your drainpipe. Soak the stained garment in cold water as soon as possible. We remove most of the stains. Sometimes, there are some stains that cause discoloration of the carpet. In this case we are unable to remove the stain.

DEPENDS ON THE NATURE OF THE STAIN There are two types of stains - those that are in the intermolecular spaces or voids of plasatics . and those that become part of the actual polymeric material of the plastic or other material to be cleaned (essentially "dying" the material) Dealing with the first example, rust clearly is water-related and produces stains in gelcoat or vinyl only in so far as it penetrates the pores and voids.

If you need to remove stubborn stains from the pan, we recommend Dip-it® cleaning solution. There may be other stain removing products on the market. Check the cleaning product aisle at your local grocer.

Red wine stains are easiest to remove if they are still wet. If you can't deal with the problem immediately, lay a wet towel over the carpet area or put the affected clothing to soak until you can treat it. The following methods work almost all of the time: Wine Away Red Wine Stain Remover - This is by far the most effective product we have found.

Let the cage base soak in hot water and vinegar for awhile. Then scrub the area and rinse it out with soap and water really good. It may need to be repeated a few times but it should take off the stain pretty good.

The best way to prevent stains is to soak or rinse GladRags immediately in cold water so the stains do not set. The color pads, however, don't stain very much. If you want to use additional laundry boosters, we recommend the Biokleen's Oxygen Bleach. Natural enzyme stain removers are also great. Try Biokleen's Bac-Out. The following products have also been suggested by GladRags users: borax, lemon juice, hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, or drying your GladRags in the sun.

When urine is allowed to dry and remain in the carpet or other material, it begins bonding itself to the fibers. The longer it is allowed to remain the stronger the bond becomes. Proteins (chains of amino acids) physically bond to the fibers while other portions of the urine crystallize into salts, forming ionic (electric charge) bonds. At this point it has become impossible to completely remove by cleaning alone.

A: Urine is a liquid with many proteins and bacteria, so when the urine dries, it turns into crystals. These crystals can remain in the same state for a long time. However, when they come in contact with moisture they will become urine again. By cleaning the urine with hot water (steam), the urine, along with its odor, becomes embedded in the fibers while the deodorizer acts as a food for the bacteria in the urine. This causes brown stains or other discolorations to appear on the carpet.

Our process is not a wash or stain remover, it is a odor remover and sanitizer. It kills all bacteria and fungus that's living in your equipment, and removes the most nasty odors. Washing equipment is not a good idea because it breaks down the fibres and accelerates rust on metal. You can wash your outer garments in your washing machine, those are normally what gets stained.
