The gold foil pouch or retort pouch, is constructed of a polyester film which is laminated to an aluminum foil with a polypropylene coating. This combination of materials is used for it's resistance to high temperature and for it's durability. It also provides a barrier to light, gases, microorganisms and odors. The foil pouch is good for at least 5 years and will preserve the Smoked Salmon within the package as long as the pouch has not been been damaged.

Most supplement are stamped with an expiration date. However, there are a few supplements that are stamped with a four digit manufacture date. The first three numbers are the day of the year and the last number is the year. The powdered supplements with a manufactured date have a shelf life of three years.

Solid Gold treats are stamped with a four digit date of manufacture. The first three numbers are the day of the year and the last number is the year. Most treats have a shelf life of one year from this date.

Solid Gold dry foods have a shelf life of nine months. The bags are dated with a best before date which is printed exactly nine months from the day of manufacture.

Shelf-stable Smoked Salmon in a sealed gold foil pouch has a shelf-life of 5 years, and should be consumed within this time.

Retort Smoked Salmon is slowly smoked over alderwood, then packaged in a gold foil pouch, and sealed to preserve moistness and flavor. The retorting process is the cooking of the pouch in pure steam. Retort Smoked Salmon has a firm texture and flakes into a chevron pattern when cut. Retort Smoked Salmon does not require refrigeration until after the pouch has been opened. Sold in the freezer department of your grocery store. Salmon lox is cold-smoked and the fish therefore remains uncooked.

The shelf life of frozen salmon is generally "advertised" as six (6) months under commercial cold storage conditions. However, if properly stored at -18?C (0?F) with protection from exposure to air and dehydration, the actual shelf life of frozen salmon can be up to 12 months without quality loss.

Frozen smoked salmon and frozen Lox may be kept in a home freezer for several weeks. However, once thawed, smoked salmon and Nova Lox should spend no more than one or two days in the refrigerator.

iOSAT™ Tablets are FDA approved for seven years and should be stored unopened in a dry environment at room temperature.

You will find a white sticker under the bottle with the expiry date on it. It is best stored in a cool dark place out of direct sunlight.

Canned salmon is one of the most shelf-stable food products available, and can be safely stored in a pantry for many years. The shelf life of canned salmon is generally "advertised" as six (6) years. However, if properly stored in a dry pantry, the actual shelf life of canned salmon is 10 years or more, provided that the integrity of the can has not been compromised due to damage or corrosion.

Biomatrix Gold will last for many years and still have the same properties & characteristics, provided it is stored in a dry condition. And being double compressed it requires less space and can be stacked like blocks on pallets. It will not be effected by high humidity conditions.

Discard any Smoked Salmon left at room temperature for more than 2 hours. Leftover Smoked Salmon may be wrapped in plastic wrap and stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Freezing is not recommended.

Then our salmon is retorted (flash cooked) and sealed in gold foil pouches which naturally preserves our salmon. Nothing more, nothing less. Gourmet, healthy and easy. Our hot smoked salmon is shelf stable, like any canned product would be, for up to 5 years.

Approximate delivery time will be given when your order is placed. I'll usually have your pouch completed within six months after I receive your order. Keep in mind each pouch is one of a kind and is handmade, therefore I beg your patience. Journals are usually sent within two weeks after I received your order confirmation.

It really depends on usage, but in general we suggest that you replace the blade assembly and foil about once a year. If you use your Cleancut a lot and you begin to notice a drop in its performance then that's when you should replace them. See the next question below!
