Firstly, the UT server needs to be able to listen to the TCP port which you have selected (if any) for your web admin port. Opening port 1289 allows for faster connectivity because it is a direct connection to our JWalk server, mercury.igetsmart.com. However, opening port 1289 requires firewall intervention. If port 1289 fails, connectivity will automatically fail over to port 80 (HTTP). Connection to port 80 is tunneled.
