A.We are so glad you asked that question. There are many things you can do. Many groups, businesses, churches and individuals have conducted numerous fund raising events for us. Some groups have conducted garage sales, collected gifts and money, hosted bake sales and many other fund raising events. Help in promoting awareness of the plight of Iranian children is of the utmost importance to us. You can do this in several ways. First, you can help by simply telling your friends and colleagues about us. Second, you can request Children of Persia T-Shirts, calendars, or charity cans. Simply displaying these items in your place of work will help increase exposure for Children of Persia, and, ultimately, the plight of underprivileged and needy children in Iran.

You will be asked to make up the shortfall from your own funds. In the event you are unable to do so you will forfeit your place on the trek. The amounts you have had donated will be returned to the sponsors should they require it.

The CSR organising committee has come up with an annual calendar of fund-raising activites for staff and business partners.

Charity comes from the heart. Since the MediaCorp Charity Fund has only been just set up, there is no specific target for the first year. Our aim right now is to get our staff to take part and be involved in charity work.
