Rotisserie - The original scoring method of all fantasy leagues. Each team is ranked from top to bottom in all scoring categories. In a ten-team league, the team at the top of a particular category is given ten points, the second place team given nine, all the way down to the last place team, which is given one point. All points are then added toegether to arrive at an overall winner. Points-Based - Each team is awarded points for player performance.

Rotisserie-style scoring is based on stat categories and ranking teams against one another. Typically eight to ten stat categories are used. For each stat category, statistics are accumulated each week by all the players in your starting lineup.
