Travel teams are formed in the fall for the following spring season. The tryout dates are listed in the travel section of this site and in The Northville Record in late summer. Players that are playing on a house team and are interested in playing on a "tournament team" are encourages to talk with their coaches about this opportunity. Tournament teams are formed early in the spring season. The NBSA is a volunteer-based organization providing opportunities for our 1400 + ball players.

A Travel Team is comprised of players whose skills have developed to the point where they would benefit from playing in an environment that is more competitive than the current Intramural Program offered by the CYBL. The travel teams will play games against players of the same age from other cities and towns in the area.

Non-Manalapan residents can try out for the U8 MSC travel teams only if they have played in our rec program for the last year. Out of towners are allowed to try out for U9 and older teams even if they previously weren't a part of the Manalapan Soccer Club.Back to top

Unaccompanied minors are restricted from traveling on some flights. Unaccompanied minors booked in violation of these restrictions will be denied boarding and/or be subject to additional fees for re-routing. The WAICU Travel Desk can provide you with these restrictions.

Answer: Tryouts, roster additions or subtractions, or other related issues are considered team issues and coaching decisions. Only in the case of gross misconduct (coach, player or parent) would the club interfere in such decisions. If a coach does not wish to have any roster additions or subtractions, they are not required to go to tryouts.

Athletes' abilities will be observed in order to place them on a team most appropriate for their skill level.

Our goal for the travel team program is to give players a playing atmosphere that is more competitive than the intramural program but one which still concentrates on the two key elements of the intramural program, "Fun and Fundamentals". Since the teams will be playing in competitive leagues and tournaments, it is expected that coaches will utilize their players in an attempt to win.

Team sign-ups can be accomplished in two ways; 1) Submit a team registration form with your deposit through the mail, or 2) Use our online registration, followed by your deposit in the appropriate time frame, through the mail. This initiates the formal race application process.

Formal tryouts for the AAU season are held each year in late February and early March. Parents are always encouraged to contact the head coaches and team managers in respective age groups for tryout information and opportunities. Yes, if you choose to tryout for the Orange Squad and are not chosen, you can then request for consideration for the White Squad. It is still highly recommended that you attend the each of the separate tryouts should you choose to do so. Orange squad tryouts will be held before white squad tryouts.

No, only the team leader needs to sign it (and turn it in at the Kickoff). However, everyone who works on the film must sign the Liability Waiver form. See the documents page for more details.

Every participant has a chance to sign up for the tournament and to create his or her own team. You are not required to know everyone on the team you choose; however, we do feel it is in your best interest to find people whom you know fairly well for the best competitive experience. The Child Study Team (CST) is a group of professionals who perform the task of diagnosing students with special needs. A CST is generally made up of the following individuals: Educational Diagnostician (also referred to as a Learning Consultant or Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant) In addition to these members, the CST may utilize various other professionals in order to evaluate and properly diagnose a student (i.e. audiologist, physical therapist, autism specialist, etc.).

For ages U7 and older, players are placed on teams from a blind draw and cannot request to be places on a specific team.
