If you have created a document in Microsoft Word, WordPerfect or similar word processing software, you will need to save it as a TEXT document. When you are saving your document, select “Save As” from the “File” drop down menu. In the “Save As” window, change the “Save as Type” from a Word Document to Text Only (*txt). If this does not work, create your document in Notepad, or cut and paste the text from Word to Notepad.

MS Word has an option under "File/Print" to create a pdf document. The Printer Name box should include Adobe PDF.

TExtract version 7 can index English and Dutch text. A document may contain sections in the main Western languages; sections in languages other than English or Dutch will be skipped. Yes and no. You can't actually create a standalone application with your Isadora document embedded within it. However, what you can do is simply place an unregistered copy of Isadora, your pre-recorded media, and your Isadora document on another computer. The only feature disabled in the demo (except outputting the stage to a movie file) is the "Save" function. So you or your users will be able to run the Isadora document, you just won't be able to save any edits to the file.

Bookmarks are placeholders in a document which can provide a variety of uses, usually for navigation within a document. Creating bookmarks is a great beginning for handling navigation through a long document. If the bookmark is a single point then the insertion point will be moved to it. If the bookmark is a block of text, then the text will be selected.
