It is the exam usually taken in the sophomore or junior year as a warm-up for the College Board SATI. The SAT is the exam accepted by colleges and universities as part of their admission requirements. The SATII subject exams test specific areas such as English, Math or a foreign language. You can choose which subject tests to take. The UC system requires the SATII exam. It is one of the exams colleges and universities accept as part of their admission requirements.

There is a woman's golf league that plays every Wednesday. Moselem also offers junior clinics and camps. However, juniors under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult while on the golf course.

Standardized tests are only one indicator of how well you might perform in college. Of course we like to see high scores if possible, but your day-to-day performance in classes (i.e., GPA) is more important to us. The combination of a mediocre GPA and low test scores will be a concern, however.

Our Student Records Department has PSAT, SAT and ACT test scores on the transcripts for some students, but only if the student provided us with his/her correct social security number and put the correct social security number on the test at the time the test was taken. Test scores are posted from a data file purchased from the testing company, so we can't be certain that all information is provided. We are under no requirement to maintain these scores, but do so as a convenience to the students.

The PSAT (Pre-Scholastic Assessment Test) is normally taken by high school students and serves as a practice test for the SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test). The SAT is taken by juniors and seniors as a precursor to college/university admission. It is also an assessment of a student's verbal and mathematical skills.

While it is always a good idea to review the practice materials before any exam, students should not invest in formal, expensive test prep classes for the PSAT. The PSAT is meant only as a practice SAT, so, in a sense, taking the PSAT constitutes a form of test prep for the SAT.

College admissions offices will not see students' PSAT scores. This score is meant to give students some guidance in preparing for the SAT, and for strong junior test takers, this score will be used to determine students' status in the National Merit Scholarship Competition.

The PSAT/NMSQT is great practice for the SAT, and juniors who take the test may qualify to enter National Merit Scholarship Corporation programs. Most importantly, the PSAT/NMSQT is a comprehensive tool that gives valuable feedback to the students and the school. Your son/daughter will receive scores in verbal reasoning, math reasoning, and writing and will se how his/her scores compare to other sophomores across the country.

Northwest JR's Volleyball Club is the oldest established Volleyball Club in the Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho). Established in 1972, NW Juniors offers programs for ELITE and beginning players. Managed by Northwest Volleyball, Northwest Juniors is a leader in the Volleyball community -- featuring management by the Puget Sound Region Junior Program Director, Tony Miranda. We provide teams for over 150 Jr. volleyball players ranging in age from 10 to 18 years old.

A junior is a competitor who will not attain the age of 19 during the season year, or who is and has been continuously enrolled in secondary school as a full time student seeking a diploma. A junior 16 is a competitor who will not attain the age of 17 during the season year. A competitor's age is determined as of December 31. Junior B-A rower and coxswain will be classified a Jr.B until December 31st of the year they reach the age of 16.

In AKC the juniors are divided into age groups: juniors (9 years old and under 12 years old), intermediates (12 years old and under 15 years old) and seniors (15 years old and under 18 years old). Within each age group there is a division for experience. Novice is for juniors just starting and Open is for the more experienced handlers. When first competing, you will begin in Novice Classes.

For AKC, the age limit is 18. But if you qualify for Westminster before your 18th birthday you may compete at Westminster.
