Your site will be inaccessible for the time being. To avoid this you should inform us that you are willing to pay additional bandwidth fees or upgrade your current plan that will fit your website traffic.

If it appears that you may exceed your bandwidth limit for the month, we will email you well in advance and ask whether you would like your account suspended when it reaches its quota or whether you wish to pay the $10.00+GST/GB bandwidth overage fee. We won't allow your bandwidth to run over its quota unless we've had your express permission for it to do so.

Additional fees, specified in the "Add-On Features" page, will be charged for exceeding the disk space and/or network bandwidth allowance of your selected plan. To avoid these additional charges, we offer free upgrades to the next level hosting plan.

A notification will be automatically emailed to you when your bandwidth usage has reached 80% of your allocated limit. If you surpass your limit, your account will be suspended for the remainder of the month. Additional bandwidth may be easily purchased by submitting a service ticket.

Then you can decide whether you want to pay for extra bandwidth separately or (@$5 for 5Gb), upgrade to a higher plan.

Answer: Our automated system will alert you when you are close to meeting your bandwidth allotment. Once your allotment has been exceeded, your Web site will be taken offline. We'll also be updating the page that is displayed when you exceed your bandwidth allotment to make it more visitor-friendly. You'll also have the opportunity to login to your account from that page.

You will receive an automatic e-mail message warning you that you have reached 80% of your contracted limit. This should give you plenty of time to contact HostingCity and purchase more bandwidth. Once you have exceeded your limit, your account is suspended for the rest of the current month.

If you exceed your space or bandwidth, our support team will contact you via e-mail with a warning and further steps and options you can take regarding the matter.

Once you exceed you limit your account will be suspended. You can keep track of your bandwidth usage through cPanel.

You will receive an email from us asking you to either upgrade your account or purchase more bandwidth. You will have 5 days to respond to the email or your site may be suspended until the next calendar month when bandwidth totals are reset.

If you do go over the limit we contact you, but it is very unlikely you will exceed your limit, web pages are very small and because web browsers store local copies of graphics and other page elements you can have tens of thousands of page views per GB per month.

If only minor excess bandwidth usage occurs irregularly, you will not be billed. However consistent, substantial overages will result in a request for you to upgrade your account.

If your site exceeds its allotted amount of bandwidth per month, it will default to a "site suspended" page. But don't worry: our system will e-mail you when you reach 80% of your transfer limit, so you have plenty of time to act or decide what to do.
