If you let us know that you've changed your tag we can transfer the existing game and achievements data across to a new profile in our database. Please do not add your new Gamertag before asking us to update your profile as this makes things more complicated. If you do not contact us your original Gamertag will eventually be marked as invalid and your profile deleted from our database.

One of the much-touted features of Xbox Live on the 360 is the fact that yes, gamertags can be changed. It'll cost you, though -- 800 Microsoft Points.

If you change your gamertag, simply e-mail us at support@360voice.com with your old and new gamertag (be sure to be clear which is which) and we will rename your account. Depending on when you notify us and when we change it over there might be a lapse in service so you may miss a day or two.

Logout and login again. You will be prompted to go through and complete a process similar to registering; however, all that happens at the end is your gamertag on the site changes to the one you changed your gamertag to.

In order to validate that you own the gamertag you wish to sign up with we require that you change your Gamer Picture and Gamer Zone to the ones we specify later in the registration process.
