Cladding cannot be applied on-site. Parts to be clad are either sent to Conforma Clad for processing or fabricated completely at our facility. Alternately (especially for large parts), we can clad tailored liners and install the liner on site.

When sending a Crown product to the factory for service, be sure to fill out the service information form found in the back of your manual and enclose it with your shipment, either inside the box or in a packing slip envelope securely attached to the outside of the shipping carton. Absolutely! Anyone can send equipment to Rane for repair work, maintenance or testing, so long as a return authorization (RA) number is obtained before the item is sent. Units shipped from outside the U.S. may incur exorbitant import duty and landing charges so we suggest non-U.S. customers contact their appropriate International Distributor. We quote estimates for non-warranty work only by model number, at the time the RA is given.

Air freight or sea freight. Your choice, however air freight will be more expensive but much faster (about 4-7 weeks faster).

Factory service is available for any of our products. Bench time is $95/hr, which includes labor and use of the expensive test equipment we maintain for that purpose. Parts and shipping are also billed as needed. If you send a unit for repairs/alignment, please pack it well to avoid damage and tell us briefly what you have observed. The more details you can provide, the quicker we can find the problem.

Zildjian does not provide this service and does not recommend reapplying logos that have faded. The process to remove what remains on the existing logo and cleaning process to accept the new logo could cause stress to the metal of the cymbal resulting in damage. Additionally, a hand-applied paint could alter the sound of the cymbal.

Insect-o-Cutor fly screens are robust and are made to last. In fact, we guarantee fly screens for 5 years - but they should last many years beyond that. Just like any other part of a building. they may require some maintenance - this largely depends on the environment they are in. For a modest annual fee, we can come along once a year and inspect your fly screens, replacing any worn parts. These parts and the labour would be covered by your annual fee.
