All presentation projectors (sometimes known as "Powerpoint Projectors") are supplied with the appropriate cable to connect to your PC. This will usually be either a {glossary_vga cable|VGA cable} or - less commonly - a {glossary_DVI|DVI} cable. In order to get a picture this cable will need to run from the monitor output on your computer to the computer input on the projector.
