Obtain an application from either a boat dealer, currency exchange, DNR office, state park, or download from our watercraft page. Complete the application and send in the top copy to us. Keep the middle copy with you until you receive registration documents from us. Your copy allows you to use the watercraft in the interim. The back side of the application identifies registration fees and other documents (title, Certificate of Origin, Dept. of Revenue receipt, etc.) which needs to be sent to us.

You will need a bill of sale, a current insurance card, with a date that has taken effect and not expired and has the proper VIN printed on it. You will also need the Title (for 15 years old or newer), and Release of Lien form if applicable.

If the boat is new, you need to complete an application for boat title and furnish the original "Manufacturer"s Statement of Origin" (MSO). Submit the application, MSO and required fees to the Marine Board. If the boat has been previously registered in Oregon, you should receive an "Oregon Certificate of Title" from the seller. The legal and registered owners must release their interest by signing and dating the back of the release of interest line on the title.

If you moved here from a state that titles watercrafts, you'll need to bring in the current title with your name on it. South Carolina provides an online list of titling states. Super Saturday is a free event held twice a year at CHEC that provides participants an opportunity to attend two sessions regarding a variety of topics in parenting and caregiving. You can register for as many seminars as you wish.  Each topic is designed to stand on its own.  By completing any 4 seminars, you will earn a Professional Certificate from Ithaca College.  Just remember…the seminars do have a capacity and are filled on a first come, first served basis…so register early when you decide to go for the certificate.
