To uninstall SweetIM and remove it from your computer go to your Windows control panel and click on Add/Remove programs. Select Macrogaming ltd (the company that builds SweetIM) and click on remove program. This will effectively remove SweetIM from your computer.

You can easily change your homepage. In your Internet Explorer, just go to Tools → Internet Options → write down a new homepage in Home Page section → OK In case you have Windows XP then make sure that Windows Messenger is properly installed.
