Yes. Beginning in January 2008, a licensee who has been lapsed for more than the current renewal period must document having earned at least 24 hours in the two years prior to reinstatement. A license that has been lapsed for less than two years will be required to earn a pro-rated number of hours, e.g., a licensee that has been lapsed for thirteen months must have 13 hours of Continuing Education credits within the last two years in order to reinstate.
