When a food addict is convinced that abstinence is the answer to recovering from food addiction, she/he will be able to go anywhere and remain abstinent. Traveling abstinently does take extra planning to ensure that we have the foods we need when we need them. Discussing travel plans with a sponsor and with other recovering food addicts can provide us with an excellent source of ideas for solutions to the challenges of traveling abstinently.

Buying medications abroad has its risks. The drugs could be of poor quality because of the way they are produced. The drugs could contain contaminants or they could be counterfeit drugs and therefore may not provide you the protection you need against malaria. The Rental Agreement you will be asked to sign states that the equipment cannot be taken out of the province without our consent. If you are traveling, please let us know before renting the equipment. As noted previously, you are completely responsible for loss or damage to our rental equipment while it is in you possession. If it is damaged because you plugged our equipment into an incorrect foreign power outlet, you will be held responsible for the repairs.

There is no need for you to know the native language for the classroom (it is often discouraged to speak the native language in the classroom); however, knowledge of the native language will make your transition and adjustment to the foreign country much easier outside the classroom and help to alleviate culture shock in your day to day activities.
