Call the Post Falls Police Department at (208) 773-3517. Please be prepared to provide the license plate number or the vehicle identification number (VIN). Also any information that the officer issued to the person who was last driving your car when it was impounded is helpful. If you do not know the license plate or VIN, please check your paperwork (such as the pink slip, vehicle repair receipts or insurance papers) that you may have.

If it's been towed from the City's streets, contact the local police precinct. They will tell you who towed your vehicle and where it is now.

It depends on why the vehicle was towed. If the vehicle was towed because of a parking violation, you may get your vehicle released by coming to the Northfield Safety Center. You will need current proof of registration, insurance and proof of a person with a valid driver's license. If the vehicle was impounded because of a criminal act or violation, we suggest you call our office to determine what you must do to have your vehicle released.

To claim the car, the owner of the vehicle must respond to Glen Rock Police headquarters and sign a release for the vehicle. If the vehicle is being driven out of the impound yard, the owner must present documentation at police headquarters, showing that they own the vehicle, that it is properly registered and insured, and that they possess a valid drivers license, before the release will be authorized.

There are different circumstances for which a car may be towed. You will be required to pay a fee to the City of Los Altos, as well as to the tow company involved. Under certain conditions you may not be eligible to obtain a release for the vehicle for 30 days. Contact the Police Department, 24 hours a day, at (650) 947-2770 to obtain specific information. Please be prepared to provide a case number if possible.

Call the Saint Paul Police Department Impound Lot, 830 Barge Channel Road, St. Paul, at (651) 292-6005. In winter only, there is also the Snow Impound Lot, 1129 Cathlin St., 3/4 mile west of Snelling, south of Como Avenue, at 603-6895.

the time of impoundment, the Fulton County Sheriff's Office will normally provide the name of the wrecker service which was called to tow the vehicle. When you are ready to obtain the vehicle's release, contact the wrecker company which towed the vehicle. Any special conditions that must be met in order for the vehicle to be released will be explained to you.

Vehicles on UAA property may be booted if the vehicle has 3 or more outstanding citations. The charge for the "BOOT" is $50.00. Failure to resolve the citations may result in the commercial towing of the vehicle from campus at the owner's expense. Unauthorized removal of, or damage to, an immobilization device is a criminal offense.

Once your car is towed, you must pay your entire outstanding delinquent parking tickets in full by a charge card or in cash by visiting City Hall. After you have paid in full, go to the side counter in room 102 at 900 East Broad Street, 1st floor. You will be given a release form and a green card to hang in your rear view mirror for twenty-four (24) hours so that your car will not be towed again for those citations. additional $10.

Booting and towing are Albany Police Department enforcement responsibilities. You can call the phone number on the Booting Notice. If your car is towed, call 458-5620.

You need to contact the towing company that towed your vehicle. If you do not know who towed your vehicle and you believe the Sparks Police were involved in the towing of your vehicle, call the Sparks Police Department at 353-2428.

Pay the $20 impound fee, after which you will be given a release. (Note: The $20 fee does not cover the fee that the wrecker charges, nor does it include fines or citations.)
