Courses at the Builders Exchange are constantly evolving and reflect current information. Therefore, the BX will not grant completion credit for the BX Certified Superintendent Program to students who took courses more than two years ago. However, students enrolling in the program may opt to test out of two BX courses: Field Supervision & Jobsite Management I and/or Introduction to Construction Drawings. There is no charge for taking the test or for receiving a passing score.

What about courses taken many years ago? Will there be a problem transferring that credit?

Every aerial photograph we have ever taken is identified with a file number. If you have a copy of the aerial picture we took, that file number would be on the back of the aerial photo. With that file number we can easily locate the original negative or digital file and provide you with a copy of the aerial photograph of your choice.

Many institutions consider that knowledge acquired more than ten or so years ago may no longer be current, and therefore may not grant credit for "stale-dated" courses. Courses in rapidly evolving fields such as information technology may have an even shorter shelf life. Check with your intended institution regarding their policy.
