Courses at the Builders Exchange are constantly evolving and reflect current information. Therefore, the BX will not grant completion credit for the BX Certified Superintendent Program to students who took courses more than two years ago. However, students enrolling in the program may opt to test out of two BX courses: Field Supervision & Jobsite Management I and/or Introduction to Construction Drawings. There is no charge for taking the test or for receiving a passing score.

Generally, there isn't a problem at the core curriculum level except when course content has changed considerably. For example, if a computer course were taken in excess of 10 years ago Appalachian will probably not be able to transfer the course because there have been such drastic changes in the course content. Upper-division courses taken in excess of 10 year ago must be reviewed by the respective academic department.

Here at the 111 th Aerial Photography Squadron we keep all our aerial photography negatives and digital files in our aerial photography library archive. Every aerial photograph we have ever taken is identified with a file number. If you have a copy of the aerial picture we took, that file number would be on the back of the aerial photo. With that file number we can easily locate the original negative or digital file and provide you with a copy of the aerial photograph of your choice.

Because it takes up to 6 weeks for the department to receive GRE scores from the testing centers, you should FAX a copy of your test results to the department as soon as you receive them. (Please note that many times we do not receive the testing center copies. Therefore, all applicants are required to send copies of their scores to the department.) The GRE exam can be taken any time by computer testing.

That depends on how many years ago, and on the institution and program you want to enrol in. Many institutions consider that knowledge acquired more than ten or so years ago may no longer be current, and therefore may not grant credit for "stale-dated" courses. Courses in rapidly evolving fields such as information technology may have an even shorter shelf life. Check with your intended institution regarding their policy.

Generally, no. There is no time limit on transfer work in general academic areas such English and history. Some restrictions apply for a small number of courses such as chemistry, anatomy and physiology.

No. The 24 required credits must be from law courses within the International Legal Studies curriculum at WCL. The 24 required credits must be earned at WCL. We do not award “transfer” credits from other law schools. You can take a total of 6 non-classroom credits. The limit of 6 includes both internship credits and independent study credits.

Yes. An investigator who is the PI on an R21 or other significant but allowable research grant is eligible to apply if he/she meets all of the other eligibility criteria. However, recipients of an R21/R33 Phased Innovation Award, which combines the review of the R21 and R33 phases of the award, are not considered "new investigators" and are not eligible to apply.

If you are a practicing registered nurse, you will receive transfer credit for previous academic achievements. For students entering into the initial licensure for becoming a registered nurse, the anatomy and physiology courses must have been completed within the last five years.
