The easiest way to slow down old games is to hit the Turbo button on your computer, if it has one. Of course, not all computers have Turbo buttons, and not all will slow down all games the way you'd like. So, check out the MoSlo utility (it can be downloaded from the Essential Utilities page), one of many that allow you to slow down a DOS program. It works quite well for most games. Unzip the program to the same directory as the game you want to run slower.

Since there is no frame-skip or auto frame-skip in UltraHLE, the only way to speed up or slow down emulation is to change the resolution which you are running the game at, or disable the sound. Choose a high resolution to slow the emulation down, or a low resolution to speed it up. Disabling the sound also gives a speed boost. Although the program is capable of 20 channels, some computers will run best with 10 or less.. To reduce the number of channels and free up some systems resources change the number of max channels in the config table and restart the program. Yes. Two things. One, Verizon didn't do a good job with the processor. They don't have the speed stepping working correctly, and since this is the case, SuperDave made a utility to help with it. Chromium absolutely requires hardware acceleration - it will not run at acceptable speeds with software OpenGL.
