Assuming that $wgPasswordSalt is set to true (the default), you can use the following SQL query: UPDATE user SET user_password = MD5(CONCAT(user_id, '-', MD5('somepass'))) WHERE user_name = 'someuser'; Where obviously "somepass" is changed to the password you want to set and "someuser" is changed to the user name as it is listed in the table "user".

Go to "My NDEI" and click on the "My Profile" link. On this page, you can change your Password. User Names cannot be changed once entered into the system. If you would like to change your User Name, you must re-register.

Passwords are changed on the Edit Existing User screen (see above). If you have included the person's email address, the control panel will automatically send new logon instructions by email. Changes take effect immediately.

The user interface text is put into pages in the special MediaWiki namespace. When logged in as a sysop, you can edit those pages to immediately change the output of the wiki. Some configuration changes (like changing $wgSitename to set the wiki's name) don't affect the pages which were generated at install time. You can edit them directly, or use the "rebuildMessages.php" script in the maintenance directory (it must be run from the command line and you must set up an AdminSettings.php file).

The MediaWiki default user preferences are in the language file, i.e. languages/Language.php if you're using English. You may change your user password on the User Account Information screen. Click Update User Account on the Options screen and follow the instructions. If you are the Entity Data Bank Administrator and wish to reset a user's password, highlight the user's account information on the Maintain User Account Information screen and click Reset Password. On the User Account Information screen, you may reset the user's password.

You can not change your user name nor email address. To change your password, login to your account and select the "My Profile" link in the top navigation bar.

The file named "manageruser.db" contains the user accounts that have access to the shop manager. By editing this file, you can modify the access to the admin interface. Currently the admin user is named "admin" and the password is as well, "admin". If you want to change either the name or the password, you can use a text editor to edit the file and then reupload it to the server.

You must go and edit your User Profile. To do This, you can either use the Quick Key by Pressing the “Left” key on your joystick while being on the home screen or by going to Menu > Settings > User Profiles. Here you will find a list of different User Profiles. Select one that you would like to change. After selecting the desired Profile, you will be asked to either “Activate” or “Customize”. Select the “Customize” option.

Because your username is our unique way of identifying you, you can't change it. However, you can sign out and register as another user name, but you'll lose your personal topic list, so save it first (File->Save in your browser's menu). To register as another user, sign out, click the sign in link, submit the form without a password, then click the register link on that page, erase your current name and type in your correct name and go from there.

To edit or change your password is simple. Login on your T-SWAP member page with the screen name in which you would like to change and go under the "Look at What You Have" area and choose the topic My Profile. Here you can choose the topic at the heading of the page "Edit Profile". Your password is now ready to be edited or changed.

To edit your profile, change your password, edit your address, upload a photo or change your name you need to click on the 'My 'do crafts' link at the top of the fixed menu to the left hand side of the site. Then select the 'Edit my Profile' tab.

The Speech Technology Forum includes the ability for users to set up a "user profile." Users may specify their e-mail address, full name, and whether or not they want to receive e-mail notification of posts. Users may also change their passwords. To access the user profile editor, click on "User Profile" from the main menu. To create a User Profile, click on "Register for Password".
