Answer: No. Since the e-RAM is over 3.8 inches inside diameter, even with the motor in the center, and its axial blade design, the e-RAM flows the equivalent to a 3.1 inch diameter free-flow intake tube. Also at part-throttle conditions, this not a factor because the flow rates under part throttle condition are much lower as well. We have dyno'ed the e-RAM when mounted but NOT ENERGIZED at full throttle and measured no losses (see dyno results page for this dyno example).

Answer: The only moving parts are the instrument quality rare earth electric motor which is rated for over 800 hours before recommended service (brush replacement) and a metal impeller. It is highly resistant to heat and has sealed no maintenance ball bearings. Because of the low duty cycle (on the race track it is only on for 20 to 40 seconds a lap depending on the road course such as Laguna Seca or Sears Point where testing is done), the e-RAM unit should outlast your engine.

We configure systems with "virtual RAM" sizes ranging from 32 Megabytes to about 490 Megabytes (this is the limit in "non hi-mem" mode for User-mode-linux).

Alcohol in the mother's blood crosses the placenta freely and enters the embryo or fetus through the umbilical cord. The exact mechanism(s) by which alcohol damages the fetus and critical times of exposure are not known; however, exposure during the first trimester results in the structural defects (i.e., facial changes) characteristic of FAS, whereas the growth and CNS disturbances could occur from alcohol use during any time in pregnancy.

A large study of over 70,000 children, designed specifically to assess a risk of intussusception similar to what was found for the previous rotavirus vaccine, was conducted before licensure of RotaTeq®. In that study, there was no association found between the vaccine and an increased risk of intussusception. While these safety data from the clinical trials are reassuring, the safety of RotaTeq™ will be monitored closely post licensure as larger numbers of infants are vaccinated.

A 50cc scooter comes from the manufacturer restricted so the bike will not go faster than 30 mph. If you are 17 or over with a full bike licence / CBT test, you can have the bike de-restricted. The restrictors on the bike are taken out; also a rear number plate light is fitted (the scooter is no longer classed as a moped and the light is required by law). It will usually go 10 - 20mph faster.

Answer: The e-Ram is a distant cousin of the full blown turbo or supercharging system which employs a centrifugal impeller that must run all the time. They have to produce matched engine airflow, with high-pressure air compression (4 to 15 PSI is normal). This requires a tremendous amount of HP to drive the device. For example the airflow needed for a 2.5-liter engine at 6000 RPM is 240 CFM. At only 6 PSI, you would need 10 to 15 HP just to create this type of supercharging.

Answer: Yes! The e-RAM works on all internal combustion engines (Gasoline, Natural Gas, Diesel, etc.). Since the e-RAM is just providing additional air-density to the intake, your engine management system will automatically adjust to provide the appropriate amount of fuel and provide the additional HP gain expected from your e-RAM installation.

Answer: Yes! The e-RAM works on all internal combustion engines (car, motorcycle, ATV, Boat, etc.). You just have to make sure that there will be enough room to mount the e-RAM in the compact area available on a motorcycle. The e-RAM will work with your carbureted engine (see next answer for considerations for carburetors). However, 2-stroke engines with simple membrane style carburetors will not respond to the e-RAM pressure. Your carburetor must have a "float-bowl" for correct fuel delivery.

Answer: Yes! The e-RAM works with carbureted engines. You just have to make sure you follow the following guidelines: An e-RAM-FILTER should be placed on the end of the sealed intake tube that feeds the carb with pressurized air.

Client software generally requires 16 to 20 MB of RAM to run, with higher requirements for scanning and OCR. Most systems recommend having 64MB or more.

There is a parameter in the 'zeta.cfg' file (resources=x) to define how much RAM should the client take. The default takes about 37MB main memory in Windows. It is possible to use up to 51MB main memory to speedup the computation. In Windows you have the ZetaGrid control center which shows your work, for the other OS there is the 'zeta_progress.sh' command or other useful supplementaries on the download page.

The Green Book defines that a CD-i player should at least have 1 MB of Random Access Memory. This memory is devided into two memory banks of 512 KB each. Each of these banks contain one video image of CD-i's two video planes (see How does CD-i video work?) Depending on the video encoding type, a picture takes up about 100 KB, leaving the remaining memory for application programs, data, sound samples, and all other kinds of information.

MB of XDR Main RAM @ 3.2GHz and 256MB of GDDR3 VRAM @ 700MHz, or a total of 512MB for the entire system. The RSX graphics chip can actually use all 512MB of system RAM; it is not limited to the 256MB of GDDR3 RAM.

The standard MityDSP contains 2MB flash and 8 MB RAM. An expanded memory version is available that contains 16MB flash and 32MB RAM.
