Where do I check out of my room/building if I am moving out?

You should check with the front desk of your building to get the appropriate check out material. Follow all of the instructions carefully. If you are leaving mid year, it is recommended that you have your roommate sign a roommate release so you are not held accountable for damages that occur after you leave. You should also return bed parts and rented refrigerators or sign them over to a roommate.

Move In Day is the Sunday before classes start. There are specific times that the halls are open for students to move in, generally these times are 9am-9pm for Fall Quarter and 10am-9pm for Winter and Spring Quarters. Specific up-to-date information can be found in the Moving In Brochure. Check in occurs at a disignated area in or near the residence hall you are assigned. Signs are prominately posted to show the way. Upon check in students will receive their room keys and information.

You can only check-in to the building and into your room after 1PM. If you need to check-in earlier or need to store your luggage, then please e-mail us ASAP at artur4@hotmail.com. Most rooms are occupied before new guests arrive, we need to allow time for previous traveler(s) to checkout and we need enough time to make sure the room is ready for new guests. If you really need to check-in the room very early in the morning, then you can pay for the previous night.

If you sell your old computer, be sure you deregister your old system and have the new owner register in their own name.
