If you plan on using just a dialup account we will ask you to specify the details before we ship the unit to you so the field work is less tedious. As always all biscuits come with an Ethernet port. This allows you to connect the unit directly into a network with a high speed broadband connection. This is the preferred configuration and usually the easiest to setup.

You will need an Internet connection via cable modem, DSL, or other high speed dedicated connection that can provide you with at least 128 Kbps upstream and downstream. If you are unaware of your Internet speed, check your Internet service agreement or contact your Internet Service Provider. Your DigitalPhone service should work with any connectivity that meets the above requirements.

No but we do recommend it. A number of our clients use a dial up modem to backup their data. This is perfectly acceptable, however please remember that the online backup process may take a little longer as a result.

With ADSL, you open new possibilities for your Internet use. ADSL (512kbits/s) is up to 8 times faster than ISDN and up to 23 times as fast as an analog line connected at 33.6 kbits/s.

No. Using the Vehicle Import System you can edit your stock at your leisure and only connect to the Internet when you wish to send us an update. AutoStream only requires you to be connected to the Internet whilst you edit your stock.
