XP Embedded is a modular version of XP Professional. OEM's such as HomeSeer Technologies are licensed to create their own versions of the operating system. HomeSeer has created a version of XP that contains only the necessary operating system components to support the unit's control software and add-ons. This greatly reduces the size of the operating system while improving performance. When HomeTroller boots, it uses only 128 MB of Ram.

One of the highly respected experts in this field of research is Sandeep Shukla, associate professor in electrical and computer engineering. Azureus has a built in tracker to allow users to share torrents directly, rather than uploading them to an "external" tracker. This is called "hosting" and can be performed by selecting this option from the context menu on the "My Torrents" view. Configure the details of the embedded tracker via the "Tracker" tab on the "Configuration" view. There is an "External tracker IP address" field that must refer to the external IP address of your machine.
