Unfortunately, we are not in the fruit business. The Berry Botanic Garden is named for Rae Selling Berry, and we have a large collection of rhododendrons, native plants, alpines, and unusual trees and shrubs, many with beautiful but inedible berries.

The co-op encourages you to re-use your containers. It saves the co-op money, saves you money (you don't pay for the weight of the container) and saves landfill space. Use the scale at the checkstands to determine the weight of your container before you fill it. Write this tare weight and the bin number on your container or shopping list to speed your checkout.

A kennel if you are planning on stopping on the way home to shop, etc. Otherwise your pup would rather lie on your lap or beside you. A list of questions you've been thinking of to ask me. Always remember, I'm only an email or phone call away. If final payment is being made on the pick up day, we would appreciate cash or a certified cheque. You can pay by personal cheque 2 weeks prior to pick up as well.

You must bring a valid photo ID (such as a driver's license). You will be required to sign for your merchandise when you arrive to pick it up.

Make sure you bring your physical therapy referral (provided to you by your doctor) and your payment information. If your insurance is covering the cost of physical therapy, bring your insurance card. If you are covered by Workers' Compensation, bring your claim number and your case manager's contact information. If you are covered by auto insurance or an attorney lien, make sure you bring this information.

You can collect plants without a permit for personal use. For commercial purposes, you need to visit your local ranger district and apply for a permit.

The size of the vehicle depends on the model purchased but generally a flat tray type vehicle with removable sides is suitable. Box trailers are generally too small but a car carrying trailer is usually suitable. Please bring ropes to tie down your load.

If you find that you regularly have more than 100 gallons of yard trimmings, please give us your name, address, and phone number and we will provide the container(s) requested.

Fumigation and using desiccants have two different purposes and are not alternatives to protect your goods against moisture damage. Fumigation is primarily to eliminate insects and eggs in the container and in the goods. It has no influence on the humidity inside a container. Desiccants will not influence the effects of fumigation and can easily be put in before or after fumigation. For more information on fumigation, please read our article on this matter.
