Failure to appear could result in a Misdemeanor Judge issuing a capias for your arrest. You may forfeit the bond you posted, thus losing your money or collateral. Should you be arrested for failure to appear, you may be held in jail with or without a bond.

Late reports may result in a penalty of $20 or .05 percent of the gross payroll, whichever is greater, for each month or fraction of a month such report remains delinquent. Contributions not paid by the due date will accrue interest at a rate of 1.5 percent per month or fraction of a month, until all due amounts are received. In addition, a cost of collection fee of 20 percent of any deficiency assessed may be imposed.

The first court date set for your ticket is called an arraignment. You are expected to be in Municipal Court on the date and time set for your case on the ticket. At the arraignment, the Municipal Judge will read you your rights and will read the charges against you. If you plead "guilty", the Municipal Judge will most likely assess a fine at that time. If you plead "not guilty", the Municipal Judge will set the case for a trial date in the near future.

You will have to return to court to ask for your final order of protection. The respondent has the right to a hearing. You may see a different Judge from the one you saw the first time. The Judge you see on the next court date is the Judge likely to decide your case. If the respondent does not come to court: You will be asked to show the Judge that the respondent was properly served.

We will issue a warrant for your arrest, and if you have bee charged with a driving offense, then we will take action to suspend your drivers license.

You will only have to repeat the areas that are deficient and not have to repeat the whole entire process again. The fee will be $800/scanner for clinical or phantom images and $1600/scanner if you have to repeat both. You will have 60 days to submit the repeated images.

The courts expect you to be present for your court date at the time specified. Generally a court will only accept certain excuses for not appearing and you must prove those excuses. As a respondent or defendant, a warrant may be issued for your arrest in either a Family Court or a Criminal Court if you don't show up.

Court begins at 9:00 a.m., when the judge makes important announcements about what will happen in court and the parties' rights. After these announcements, the courtroom clerk calls roll and parties must answer that they are "present" and state their names. Failure of a tenant to appear may result in a default. Failure of landlord to appear may result in a dismissal. When both parties appear, they may attempt to resolve their differences by entering into a written agreement.

If the plaintiff appears and obtains a writ of restitution, most of the time you will be given 7 days to vacate the premises.
