Several periods offer their own advantages: the first 15 days of January, and the period comprised between August 1 and August 15 are the best periods for hotel discounts. August is a great month until August 20 because car trafic is much lighter. May and June are usually great months for their mild temperatures. September can be great during an Indian summer, but the hotels get crowded. The period extending from right before Christmas to righ after New Year Eve is terrifically romantic.

Each season has its special moments, and the secrets of Paris are never completely on disply during any particular time. Many Parisians go on vacation during August so there are fewer lines, more parking, and generally less bustle - at least away from the tourist sites. But many restaurants, theaters, etc. are also closed. The weather is generally better in summer as well. During winter, there are fewer tourists and entrance to the major museums will be easier.

If you are interested in hiking, the best time to visit is July through October. Trails are typically still covered with snow through the middle of June. Of course, this all depends on weather conditions. Aspen does not typically see a heavy first snow until October/November. Again, this cannot be predicted.

Most visitors come to the Canyon from May through September. If you decide to come then, be aware that the high season, while beautiful, means large crowds and parking at a premium. In the off-season from October through April, crowds are minimal and seeing the Canyon with a dusting of snow is worth the trip! Beware that some parts of the park and some services are closed in the off-season.

The best time to visit Bhutan are: March through May in spring, and September through November in Fall. The climate is best in fall, from late September to late November, when skies are clear and the high mountain peaks are visible. This is the ideal time for trekking and for travelling throughout the country. You may arrange your trip surrounding an annual Tsechu (relegious dance festival).

Any time is the best time. If you are feeling ill in any way it never hurts to get a professional opinion.

The 'dry' season from April to October seems to be generally considered preferable, at least as far as weather is concerned.

Although you can get a tattoo any time of the year, your skin gets a lot more abuse during the summer with swimming, tanning and just being exposed to the elements more. Winter time is really the best season to get a tattoo.

Zambia’s elevation on a plateau gives it a moderate climate, despite the fact that it is within tropical latitudes. There are three seasons, cool and dry from April to August, hot and dry from September to October and warm and wet from November to March. Only during the wet season is there noticeable humidity. In the river valleys of the Zambezi and Luangwa it becomes very hot only in the month of October. Game-viewing is excellent year round, particularly from June to October.

The end of the rainy season, notably September and October. Everything is green and lush, the skies are clear, the crowds aren't as bad, and the rains, contrary to popular mis-opinion, rarely create much of any barrier to getting to and around the temples. Just bring an umbrella for those brief but at times heavy showers.
