Cars can be cheap, but with even the smallest of them being fairly large, they can be difficult to park, store, or drive in certain situations. Mopeds are restricted to top speeds of 25 to 30 mph, depending on where you live, which seriously limits where you can ride them... some scooters are fast enough to ride on freeways.
