It is advised that Residuumsol: Fuel Oil Additive be added to the main storage tank just before fresh fuel is transferred to it because the agitation caused by the transfer of the fuel to the tank is enough for the additive to get homogenously mixed in the fuel oil.

A quick way to ruin a gallon of fuel is to drain your tank at the end of your flying day back into the fuel jug. What is happening is that your fuel is picking up moisture from the pressurized tank. The carburetor is sucking in humid air and after combustion the moisture laden air is entering into your tank via the tube from your muffler. When you return the fuel from your tank to your fuel jug you are contaminating the rest of the fuel in the jug.

Most additives do not have any positive effect on your septic tank. Nothing you add to your tank will improve normal bacterial action.

Residuumsol: Fuel Oil Additive is a liquid blend of organic chemicals in a petroleum base. The ingredients of Residuumsol: Fuel Oil Additive include detergents, combustion catalyst, chemicals that reduce the surface tension of the fuel oil, oxidation inhibitor and deposit modifiers. Residuumsol: Fuel Oil Additive is easily miscible and fully compatible with all varieties of fuel oil.

Stanadyne's Performance Formula. Stanadyne, being a major manufacturer of fuel injection systems in America has formulated an all season additive and has been proven by an independent research institute to out perform all others on the market.

All known oil tanks and systems are compatible with Bioheat® fuel at blends of 20% or less. For higher biodiesel blends, up to and including 100% biodiesel, compatibility will depend on the materials (metals, plastics, and rubber parts) in your tanks, pumps and fuel lines. For blends higher than 20% biodiesel only steel, mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, fluorinated polyethylene fluorinated polypropylene and fiberglass vessels are recommended.

The time proven remedy is to add a gallon of kerosene for each 10 to 20 gallons of fuel to the tank, then allow it to sit long enough for the kerosene to diffuse into the fuel. In weather below -20 degrees F, one gallon of kerosene for 10 gallons of fuel will keep things moving, but fuel economy will be reduced. Kerosene now has red dye which a DOT inspector will assume is off-road diesel. Be prepared for a hassle if you are checked.

It probably doesn't matter. Proponents of bottom mounted tanks talk about the risk of fuel leaking on a hot motor and starting an inflight fire. However, fuel simply dripping onto a hot engine is unlikely to ignite; a spark or other source of ignition is required. Top mounted tanks are required for machines using float carburetors unless an external fuel pump is used. The more common diaphragm carburetors have a built in fuel pump.

The engine will not start without fuel. First check the fuel tank. Of course, be sure to use glow fuel made exclusively for R/C engines. If you are not sure of the type, ask your dealer for fuel for gas powered R/C cars. Be sure to securely attach the fuel tube to the fuel inlet nipple and to the fuel tank. Of course, if a filter is installed, it is necessary to check before and after the filter. You should also check that the flow of fuel is not blocked by twisting of the tube.

If the fuel tank resonates with the vibrations and the fuel foams abnormally, the engine may stop on rare occasions. This is caused by a large amount of air being mixed in the fuel transfer tube. The fuel tank should be securely attached. Once started, let the engine run until the rpm stabilizes without turning off the plug heat. When first starting a cold engine, the engine sometimes suddenly stops as soon as the electricity is turned off.

Diesel fuel quality is declining throughout the world, and we expect the trend to continue. In fact, a recent survey suggests that 70% of diesel fuel sold at service stations does not meet the SAE standard for diesel fuel lubricity. The three leading factors are: - crude oil sources, - refining techniques, and - blending techniques.

Fuel weighs about 6 pounds per US gallon The tanks vary in weight depending on size. The smallest tank weighs about 14 pounds full and the largest tank weighs about 28 pounds full.

Not recommended. Fuel can be stored up to approx. 5 months, before complete breakdown of the fuel. Basic rule: Leave tank empty, with "on/off" knob (#111) turned to the 12:00 position. Make sure air-bleeder valve (Part #13) on guage is open. SEE SAFETY TIPS

Obviously the price of fuel will depend on the model of car, pick up location, and the price of fuel at the time. The price varies from 35€ Euros for small cars and up to 85€ for the larger ones.

This depends on what you are doing with the vehicle. You can expect a 75cc tank to last 10-15 minute.

The instructions call for 1-2 oz for every 10 gallons (30-60 mL for every 40L) E.g. a 100 gallon tank would need 10 – 20 oz. More is better, and for the initial treatment use a minimum of 3-4 oz per 10 gallons.

There is no requirement for a certain fuel level in residential tanks. Larger commercial size tanks will require a certain fuel level.

The 5 mm Allen head bolt that holds down the front of the fuel tank seems to have a tendency to work itself loose. Many members have reported returning from rides to find the bolt gone. If this happens to you, you can use temporarily one of the 5 mm bolts that attaches the side plates just above the shift lever on the left or just above the brake pedal on the right. Use of blue loctite is recommended when replacing the bolt as well as torquing it down to its specification, 7.2 lb-ft, 10 Nm.

After removing the hose and trigger from the bunded area and checking the hose for kinks, the trigger is inserted into the fuel tank of the vehicle being refuelled, and the 1" ball valve is opened. The trigger is then opened and refuelling can commence by operating the pump. When refuelling has been completed, the trigger is closed and is returned to the bunded area along with the hose. Finally the 1" ball valve is closed.
