In addition to the uninsured services/items listed, Canadian residents who do not provide a valid Provincial Health Card Number and residents from other countries (e.g., US) will be charged by the Hospital for use of the Emergency facility and by the individual physician for the cost of medical services incurred. We have had great success with getting treatment covered by major insurance companies. VRMC will bill insurance companies directly as a courtesy to our patients.
