ScienceWorks, Inc. Product FAQ
Currently, our CD-ROM based products may or may not be (depending on your network) accessed from multiple desktops on a Local Area Network. Certain products require a runtime installation on each client, and it is recommended that the full program be installed on a file server hard disk (with CD-ROM drive emulation) or multiple copies loaded for those with CD-ROM towers for optimal performance. Check for new products and product updates for TCP/IP networking capabilities.

Blackice is not mine, it written by networkice programmers. :) So, the answer is No, unless their software infected itself, because "mine" blackice is the same as networkice selling. If you're not sure, I can only advice to remove it from your hard drive or buy it (like any other program you downloaded for testing from here) and compare installed files.
The Sesame Plus edition can translate Q&A (versions 4.0 and 5.0 for DOS and Q&A for Windows) database files for use within Sesame. This is a one-time operation that translates the .DTF file into the Sesame file format, producing a new file for use within Sesame. The original Q&A .DTF file remains in place and is completely unaffected, so it can continue to be used in Q&A if needed.
Sesame is a superset of the features of Q&A. In other words, we support almost all of Q&A's features, and then many more. Sesame does not have cross-tab reports, a built-in word processor, custom menus like Q&A's, field templates, Intelligent Assistant/Query Guide, or import/export of dBase files.
Yes. Sesame has export facilities that rival Q&A's. You can easily export data from Sesame to an ASCII (delimited text) file which you can then import into Q&A. This way you can port your Sesame data to your Q&A databases during a period where you might be using both programs.
